Mentorship Opportunity
DO YOU NEED A MENTOR TO GUIDE YOU? WE ARE HERE TO HELP!
Mentors and mentees are expected to meet at least once per month for thirty minutes.
The mode of communication will be agreed upon by the mentor and mentee.
Communication must remain respectful and confidential.
Things to know:
Mentors are not expected to teach mentees new skills or provide mentees with job opportunities.
Mentorship is a voluntary service, so please be respectful of your mentor's time.
Are you a mentor?
- You have more than five years of experience in the field and have made valuable contributions.
- Willing to share experiences with mentees.
- Willing to guide mentees in best practices in navigating the field.
- Point mentees to resources that will assist in their professional development.
- Willing to share feedback on mentorship experience.
Are you a mentee?
- You have already completed or are about to complete high school and wish to work in the geospatial field.
- You are already in the field and need guidance.
- You want to know how to navigate the field.
- Willing to be respectful of the mentor’s time and open to advice.
- Willing to share feedback on mentorship experience.
